RIP Mel Tillis (video)

Yet another sad day... he had a hell of Life. Guess the only thing fitting in this situation is to have one more drink and then I’ll go #meltillis#countrylegend

When I was a kid, every Sunday after church, we would go over to our step father's parents house. I would sit and play in the dining room at times; the radio seemed always to be on, it was playing either Spanish music or old-timey country music. Mel Tillis is one of the people I recognized years later as we would watch The Grand Ole Opry or some other program on the country music channel. I never appreciated his style until later in life when I would reminisce about listening to those old country songs. He had a good full life and cheers to his memory.
