RIP Malcolm Young
It is a sad day for sure... Chris Griffy stated in the article for Axs "It's hard to think of any list of AC/DC songs without their signature hit “Back in Black.” But the song also highlights just how much Malcolm Young was instrumental in AC/DC becoming the band that is recognized the world over. The opening riff for “Back in Black” is considered one of the most instantly recognizable in all of rock, and that riff was all Malcolm Young. Young had written the riff years before Back in Black was recorded, dating back to their days with vocalist Bon Scott, and used it as a warmup riff before gigs."
One of my favorite and the most memorable songs from High School. The whole album was a huge influence on my life during those years.
